Christmas Carols with New Vine Church and Forefront - A Look Back at 2022
For many Churches, Christmas Carols are a key outreach event; engaging hundreds or even thousands of members of the community that may not usually attend a traditional church service.
As we reach a halfway point in the year, many Churches are already looking forward to the December holiday period; begging to organise Christmas Carol events and more. A look back at the New Vine Carols 2022 reveals the big difference an investment in these events can make.
Wanting to elevate their Christmas Carol event without blowing out the budget, New Vine Church in Newcastle Australia enlisted the help of Forefront Productions. With an extensive History of working with Churches, Forefront was able to partner with New Vine Church to create an outstanding community event.
Carols are widely loved and known, and as such the need for great sound coverage and fidelity is paramount for any Carol event. Addressing this need, Forefront deployed their compact but mighty Adamson CS7 Line Array System, complete with CS119 Subwoofer elements. A DiGiCo Quantum 225 digital mixing console would look after both the Front-of-house and monitor mix, giving the New Vine Church team everything needed to produce a stunning listening experience for everyone attending.
To match the festive appeal of Carols, a small but purposefully designed lighting rig would help enhance the visual elements of the event. At the centre was the GrandMA2 Light console, controlling a number of Martin Rush MH10s, Clay Paky Mini-B LED moving head beams and PixaPanel Octastrobe and FlatPar Quad 18 LED wash lights - a simple but effective lighting solution for the outdoor event.
