THE ENJOY CHURCH STORY CONTINUES IN MELTON

In early 2021, Forefront Productions continued its long-term relationship with Enjoy Church Victoria by assisting with the launch of its new Melton campus venue.

The Melton campus is another of Enjoy’s family to benefit from the Nexo STM PA upgrade which took place at the Sunshine North campus. The old Nexo GeoS12 boxes made their way to Melton in the form of 3x 1210 + 1x 1230 per side, 4x RS15 subs, 1x PS10 center fill & 2x PS8’s for Outfill.

A Digico S21 + D-rack takes care of audio mixing duties, whilst a complement of Sennheiser G4-500 wireless microphone systems & IEM’s provides for wireless solutions. Additional analogue returns from FOH to Stage were created using Radial’s incredible Catapult Mini TX/RX units & inexpensive shielded cat5 cabling

Forefront’s team worked with Production Manager, Joel Cooper, to get a detailed plan for rigging & layout of system elements prior to arrival and enabled full deployment of the audio system, rigging & commissioning of lighting plus a new audio/video distribution system to the venue within 3 days. A short turnaround thanks to the ever-changing, Covid driven timelines.

Front & rear stage trussing was rigged & installed allowing for the now standardised fixtures to be hung & focused in quick time. This has been refined over the many previous campus setups between Forefront and Enjoy’s lighting team – Showpro LED Fresnels, Pixapanel RGBW Par Quads & Showpro LED Blinder II’s. LSC Redback data & power distribution was used throughout.

Finally, a first for Enjoy, a Kramer Control software solution was commissioned for controlling distributed elements (TV displays, Video source switching, Audio levels) to various parts of the venue. This not only allows for simplified operation but also remote monitoring of the connected hardware by either Joel or the Forefront team.
